I am a Highly Qualified teacher under the No Child Left Behind Act.
I participate in Alabama Science In Motion in the Subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. I have been a part of these programs through Jacksonville State University since Summer 2001. ASIM provides additional lab. experiments to the classroom and teacher training every summer.
I have also attend IMPACTSEED at Jacksonville State University in the areas of Physics and Chemistry in the Summer of 2004 with Dr. Nouredine Zettili, Dr. Laura  Weinkauf,  Dr. Blake Otwell and Tommy Morgan.
To Whom all that reads this first know that I am humbled to be a teacher. I have been a teacher at Glencoe High School since the fall of 2000. I am married to Mark B. Hayes, he is also a teacher in the area of Special Education at Whitesboro Elementary School. We have been married for over 26 years and we have two sons, both are electricians. I love teaching at Glencoe High School and I feel blessed to be a part of this wonderful community. My philosophy of education is that the learning experience should be interesting and that is my goal every lesson. Parents and students feel free to email me if you ever have a question. Have a blessed day!
